Plant City office hosts full house for heavy equipment safety & maintenance training

Over fifty operators, superintendents, project managers and project engineers came into the Plant City office for Heavy Equipment Safety & Maintenance Training on Tuesday, Oct 19 2010. They were split into groups and rotated through classroom and hands-on learning focused on the proper care and maintenance for various machines as well as safety protocol and how to recover in the case of an emergency. The day was broken up by a catered BBQ luncheon for our hard-working employees.

10th Annual BBQ Social for the FPCCE

Thank you to all of our great business partners that helped sponsor last night’s Florida Phosphate Committee of Continuous Existence’s (FPCCE) 10th Annual BBQ Social. The Lakeland Center was packed with business people involved in the phosphate industry as everyone came together to mingle and discuss the future of this vital Florida community. Attendees warmly welcomed several candidates running for office. In order of appearance:

CF Industries rewards COMANCO for Safety Milestone

CF Industries held a festive BBQ lunch last week on Friday, Sept 24 to celebrate a safety milestone on the 2 construction projects “Out Back”:  the Gyp Stack Extension & the 3rd Stage Gyp Booster Pumps.

These 2 projects have a spotless Safety record attaining over 115,000 man-hours without an OSHA Recordable incident since their kick-off.

A big round of applause to our COMANCO crews on this job for their excellent and safe work and to all the other project team members working on this site.
